Single Cell Analysis Position with Brain Somatic Mosaicism Network

(Michael McConnell) #1

The McConnell Lab at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks at least one post-doctoral fellow or scientist to join the Brain Somatic Mosaicism Network (McConnell, et al. (2017) Science). Our role in this NIMH-funded project is to determine how brain somatic copy number variants impact the genetic architecture of schizophrenia. The sought-after individual will be responsible for implementing our established CNV detection pipeline to new data being generated currently, and developing new approaches to identify functional genomic elements that are differentially impacted in cases vs. controls. A background and existing skillset concordant with these responsibilities is required. Please contact Mike McConnell directly ( and include your CV with a brief summary of your background and interest in the subject.
