The Tan lab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and UPenn is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate for a postdoctoral scholar position. The postdoc will participate in an exciting project that uses various single-cell technologies to understand tumor clonal evolution and cellular heterogeneity within the tumor microenvironment. The project is funded by a recent NCI center grant to establish the center for pediatric tumor cell atlas as part of the Moonshot initiative. The project provides an excellent training opportunity in single cell biology and cancer biology.
The applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences, such as genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology etc. The candidate should be proficient in modern molecular and cell biology protocols. An established track record (as evidenced by publications in peer-viewed journals) in relevant field is required. Experience with next-gen sequencing, single-cell, and imaging technologies is a significant plus.
