A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of James Eberwine at University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. The Eberwine lab works in the area of in vivo, in vitro and in situ single cell ‘omics in an effort to understand fundamental aspects of cellular phenotype and the impact of human disease upon the cell’s intertwined subcellular biologies. The lab is actively developing novel technologies that will facilitate a quantitative multi-chemical phenotypic understanding of cells and systems at the single cell level.
The successful applicant should have expertise in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Tissue Culture and/or skills in genomics methodologies.
Qualifications also include a Ph.D. (or equivalent training/degrees; within 1-3 years of graduation) in molecular biology, genomics, neuroscience or a related field. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, communication & organization skills, and a willingness to think about and learn new methodologies as the projects evolves.
