Beyond Single Cells: Subcellular and Spatial ‘Omics (Nov 4 2022) – registration open

We’re very excited to open up registration for the 2022 “Beyond Single Cells: Subcellular and Spatial ‘Omics” Symposium, organized by the Penn Program in Single Cell Biology. Details for the November symposium are below. Please feel free to distribute this information to any colleagues, postdocs and students who may be interested in attending.

Beyond Single Cells: Subcellular and Spatial ‘Omics

Date: Friday, November 4, 2022
Time: 1 pm - 5:45 pm EDT
Location: Arthur H Rubenstein Auditorium, Smilow Center for Translational Research, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania

The Penn Program in Single Cell Biology and ITMAT are hosting the University of Pennsylvania’s sixth Single Cell Biology Symposium on November 4, 2022. This event will bring to Penn a group of distinguished investigators who have gone “Beyond Single Cells” to the forefront of single cell subcellular organelle ‘omics. Single cell analyses have “leapfrogged” over the “stamp collecting” phase of cell atlas construction and are now using next-gen subcellular ‘omic and imaging analyses to gain novel insights into cell structure, subcellular organelle function and interactions that work synergistically to generate the emergent properties of single cells. From probing single cells and subcellular organelles, this symposium will highlight research that will excite a broad audience across a variety of scientific disciplines.

Featured speakers include:

Sponsors: ITMAT, Penn Program in Single Cell Biology, 10x Genomics, Illumina, Takara.

Please register for either in-person or online viewing of this free symposium.
